Which restroom setup suits a backyard or farm wedding?

For up to 100 guests with power and water nearby, a 2-stall restroom trailer gives the most comfort. Without hookups, use 2 deluxe flushing units plus 1 standard unit. For 150 guests, use a 3-stall trailer or 3 to 4 flushing units. Add 1 wheelchair-accessible unit for older guests.

Where should wedding restrooms go?

Put wedding restrooms 75 to 150 ft from the tent, on level ground, along a path lit after sunset, and out of the photographer's main sight lines. Restroom trailers need a dedicated outlet and a hose within 100 ft. Waterfront venues should keep units well above the tide line.

  • Walk the path at dusk the week before: add lanterns or string lights on the route.
  • Turn doors away from the dance floor and tables.
  • Ask the caterer to keep the food truck route clear of the restroom placement.

How far ahead should you book wedding restrooms?

Book wedding restrooms 2 to 3 months ahead for a restroom trailer and 3 to 6 weeks ahead for deluxe flushing units. Eastern Shore wedding Saturdays from May through October fill the trailer and deluxe fleets first. Standard units are usually available with a week's notice.

A 24-hour notice changes or cancels the delivery date at no charge, so booking early carries little risk.

Questions people ask before booking

Can we decorate the restroom trailer?
Decorating the inside is welcome: flowers, baskets, signs and battery candles. Do not tape to the walls or block the vents, and never use open flames.
Will an attendant clean during the reception?
Units arrive spotless and stocked for one evening. For weddings over 200 guests, ask about a mid-event restock visit.
Do the units come in white?
Deluxe cabins and restroom trailers are white or neutral. Standard units come in blue, grey or pink.
What if the venue is a farm with a long dirt lane?
Units can reach most farm venues around Cambridge and Easton. Send a photo of the lane and the spot; trailers need firm ground and a 10-ft-wide path.
When are wedding units picked up?
Units are picked up the next business day, usually Monday. Let us know if the venue needs them gone sooner.
